A company established in the EU or in an equivalent state may, after completing certain formalities, send its workers to Luxembourg to perform occasional and temporary services. In this respect, at the beginning of the work in Luxembourg, the employer must, on the one hand, inform the Inspectorate of Labour and Mines (Inspection du travail et des mines – ITM) and register each worker, and, on the other hand, designate a natural or legal person resident in Luxembourg (« reference person ») who will act as a communicator with the ITM and the other competent authorities.

Among other things, we offer the following services:

• Registration on the electronic platform « e-Détachement »
• Establishment of postings and communication of the information required to obtain the social identity card (badge social) that each worker must carry with them
• Notification to the General Directorate for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (Direction générale des Classes moyennes) of the Ministry of the Economy (Ministère de l’Economie)
• Registration with the Luxembourg Registration Duties, Estates and VAT Authority (Administration de l’enregistrement, des domaines et de la TVA – AED) and applying for a Luxembourg VAT identification number
• Notification of the posting of workers to the Inspectorate of Labour and Mines (Inspection du travail et des mines – ITM)
