Any person wishing to exercise a commercial or craft activity or, where applicable, a liberal profession, on a self-employed basis or in the form of a company, requires a business permit (autorisation d’établissement). This is issued by the General Directorate for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (Direction générale des Classes moyennes) upon application.

We will be glad to assist you in applying for your business permit.

Depending on the nature of your planned activity, we will also be pleased to advise and assist you in applying for special licences, such as the serving of alcoholic beverages (liquor licence).

Furthermore, we will be glad to take care of the required initial declaration (déclaration initiale) of your company with the Luxembourg Registration Duties, Estates and VAT Authority (Administration de l’enregistrement, des domaines et de la TVA – AED) and prepare the required monthly, quarterly and/or annual VAT returns.
